Angie Akweyu is an upcoming leader, and social development enthusiast, with the intellectual agility, singularity of vision, and zest for eliciting greater capabilities among people. I currently work at ZanaAfrica as the HR and Operations Associate responsible for overseeing and directing daily office operations, administrative processes, and coordination of logistical support to the project organization for efficient and effective delivery of the desired outcomes. Additionally, I am responsible for providing support in the various human resources functions.
I previously worked in the Insurance Industry and engaging with several insurance agencies and companies such as UAP insurance, Metropolitan Cannon Insurance and ICEA Lion and thereafter delved into the non-profit sector what my main interest was. I have gained valuabe experience in establishing and fostering productive relationships with internal and external stakeholders, collaborating across all levels of an organization to advance shared goals. I hold a bachelor’s degree in Peace and Conflict Transformation from Daystar University and is currently pursuing my professional certification in Human Resources. I do not work. What I do is an expression of my life purpose, passion, and personality. Consequently, I am profoundly engaged, constantly productive, and meaningfully inspired.
I love travelling. I have been to 7 countries so far and hopefully many more to go!
